Congrats on the better job. My last five annual raises all combined total up to 12.5%, and my out-of-pocket cost for benefits have gone up significantly. (I now pay over $600.00 per year for my parking pass, which used to be completely free when I started at JMU. And I'm paying double what I used to pay for health insurance just five years ago.) So yes, I'd say you lucked into a really good deal. Congrats again.
