Finally

Hello all. It's finally happened. Last week, I was allowed to order my laptop. I got the rep to expedite it and it arrived yesterday. I'm using it right now! :) Of course, the Queen isn't happy with me at the moment because I've installed WoW on it and I'm waiting for the updates to download. :)

I'm so far really happy with my new laptop. It's a Dell Inspiron 1720 and it's pretty much maxed out. I'm stoked! I just have to finish installing the rest of my software. That'll take the better part of the rest of the week.

I've been diagnosed with mycoplasma (walking pneumonia) and I'm on meds to clear it up. I'll be better in a few days.

This post was brought to you by the letters U, D, I, S, and the number 8.

OK, why does that come across as the mean wench didn't let you have a laptop before last week. I mean, yeah, I guess you had to "ask" but that was more to see if there was barely enough money in the bank account to afford it. It's not like you needed my permission. It just sounded kind-of mean the way you wrote that.

And, I'm not unhappy because you are installing WoW on your machine. I'm unhappy because you are downloading something that is hogging all the bandwidth and it is taking 5 minutes for one page to load. That's all. It's not really your fault, I'm not really mad, but you've got to admit that it sucks when you have to wait five minutes for one single page to load.

And I think you're lucky that you got diagnosed with mycoplasma. I think I get shit like that all the time but with my funky asthma kicked in nobody recognizes it for what it is. I mean, it's not good that you are sick, but at least you get names to your diseases.

Hope you feel better soon. And I'm NOT mad. But I do have to defend myself. :)

You guys are fighting over DISEASES! Sounds like you are learning from us with our competing kidney stones! Sheesh!

However, I personally believe if you graph the amount of WoW you play you will find an inverse relationship with the number of times Karen fixes you chicken. I'm just sayin'...

Sadly, chicken was few and far between long before WoW came into the picture. Also of note, the number of WoW hours is quite low (<6 hours weekly). That's lower than it was when I started playing.

Trust me when I say that I wish your comment was the solution to the lack of foul in the house. If that were the case, I'd cancel my account in a heartbeat. :)

Such is life, eh?
